After a warm welcome at the airport, we will take you to Sigiriya on the first day, where the ruins of an ancient royal city can be found. Along the way, we will stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you will have the chance to observe elephants up close and experience feeding, bathing, and even riding them. The second activity of the day will be a visit to a traditional Sri Lankan Ayurvedic herb garden in Pinnawala, where you can learn about herbal medicine and Ayurvedic products. You will also receive a free 15-minute Ayurvedic massage for relaxation.
Next, you will be taken to the picturesque village of Hiriwadunna, where you can experience rural Sri Lankan life. There, you can enjoy a bullock cart ride, paddle a boat across a village lake, and participate in traditional cooking. Afterward, you will be transferred to your accommodation in the town of Kandalama for the night.
The second day starts with the pleasant sounds of birds waking you up for your next adventure. We will take you to the historic city of Kandy, stopping first at the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, where you will climb the ancient rock that once housed a palace. In Kandy, you will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the Kandy Lake, a silk factory, a woodcraft workshop, and attend a Sri Lankan cultural dance performance in the evening. The day ends with a visit to a gem and jewelry workshop before resting at your comfortable hotel in Kandy.
On the third day, we will head to Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England" for its cool climate and misty landscapes. On the way, you will visit the Ramboda Falls and a Ceylon tea factory, where you can enjoy a complimentary cup of Ceylon tea. In Nuwara Eliya, we will visit the Seetha Amman Temple, linked to the ancient Indian epic of Ramayana. You will also have the chance to see the beautiful Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Afterward, you can explore the serene Gregory Lake, take a motorboat ride, and capture stunning photographs in Gregory Park. You can also try fresh strawberries from local farms. We are sure the cool weather, foggy landscapes, and beautiful gardens will leave you with unforgettable memories.
On the fifth day, we will begin with a journey to Hikkaduwa. On the way, we will stop at Mirissa Harbor, where you can embark on a whale and dolphin-watching tour, a unique experience for your trip. We will then visit the picturesque Coconut Tree Hill for some memorable photos. Afterward, you will visit the southernmost point of Sri Lanka, Dondra Head, and its lighthouse. We will also stop by the small island temple at Matara. In the afternoon, you will explore the historic Galle Fort, built by the Portuguese in 1584, before staying overnight in Hikkaduwa.
On the sixth day, you will wake up to the sounds of the ocean. The first activity will be snorkeling, and all the necessary equipment and guides will be available on Hikkaduwa Beach. Later, we will visit a sea turtle conservation center, where you can hold baby turtles and learn about rare turtle species. The day continues with a boat ride on the Madu River and a visit to a water sports center for some fun water activities. You will end the day at a hotel in Bentota for the night.
On the final day of the trip, we will bid you farewell and take you back to the airport, ensuring a memorable end to your Sri Lankan adventure.
