After a warm welcome at the airport, your first day journey will take you to the largest international water park in Sri Lanka. Enjoy a range of activities including internationally certified water sports, a go-kart track, and an air rifle shooting range. Afterward, we will visit a turtle conservation center where you can hold tiny hatchlings and even larger, rare species of turtles. You will then embark on a famous Madu River boat ride, followed by an overnight stay at a hotel in Hikkaduwa.
On the second morning, we will head to Tissamaharama. First, you will visit the ancient Galle Fort, built by the Portuguese in 1584, where you can take vibrant photos. Then, we will explore a small temple located on an island connected by a bridge near the Matara coastline. Next, you,ll visit the Dondra Head lighthouse, the tallest in Sri Lanka. En route to Tissamaharama, we,ll stop at Mirissa for the scenic view of Coconut Tree Hill, an ideal spot for photos. Overnight in Tissamaharama.
On day three, get ready for a jeep safari at Yala National Park, where you will see elephants, leopards, bears, and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Afterward, we will visit the picturesque Ravana Falls, where you can cool off. Then, head to Ella, where you,ll view the Nine Arches Bridge and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. You may also try the Flying Ravana zipline. Next, we,ll visit Seetha Amman Temple, which is tied to the Ramayana legend, before continuing to Nuwara Eliya for a relaxing evening.
On the fourth day, explore the scenic Gregory Lake, where you can enjoy motorboat rides, and capture beautiful memories in the Gregory Park gardens. You,ll have the opportunity to taste the fresh strawberries Nuwara Eliya is known for. After a peaceful night in Nuwara Eliya, we will head to the historic city of Kandy.
During the journey to Kandy, we,ll visit a Ceylon Tea factory where you can enjoy a complimentary cup of tea. Then, we,ll visit the famous Ambuluwaawa Tower, which you may have seen in photos, known for its steep and narrow staircase. Climb to the top for an unforgettable selfie. In Kandy, visit Lanka Silk and a woodcraft factory, followed by a special cultural dance show. Lastly, visit a gem factory to learn about Sri Lanka,s precious stones, before resting in Kandy.
On the fifth day, you,ll explore Kandy Lake and the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic before heading to Sigiriya. Climb the impressive Sigiriya Rock Fortress, known for its ancient engineering feats. We’ll then travel to Trincomalee for an overnight stay.
On day six, prepare early for a boat ride to see dolphins and whales, followed by a day of snorkeling and water sports in Trincomalee,s crystal-clear waters. You,ll also visit Pigeon Island to soak in its natural beauty. In the evening, you,ll return to Kandalama.
On day seven, you,ll travel from Kandalama to Colombo, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Here, you can feed, bathe, and observe the elephants up close. You,ll also visit a local Ayurveda center to learn about traditional herbs and treatments, with a complimentary 15-minute Ayurvedic massage. Finally, we,ll continue to Colombo for a city tour, visiting landmarks such as the Lotus Tower, Presidential Palace, Galle Face Green, and Gangaramaya Temple. You,ll have time to shop for souvenirs before retiring to a luxurious hotel in Colombo.
The next morning, your tour will conclude with a farewell, and you will be taken back to the airport for your departure.
